PWMRC building Layout at Quantico Train Station
In spring of 2005 PWMRC signed a lease with the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) commuter line to lease space in the recently refurbished Quantico Station. The town of Quantico, which is surrounded by the Quantico Marine Corp Base, is served by the VRE at this station.
In the summer of 2005, PWMRC began building a new layout in the old baggage room of the station. As a member of the track work & DCC committee, I have been working on developing the DCC plan for the layout.
The PWMRC is a non-profit organization of members interested in running HO model trains and learning from each other. To date operations are conducted at members homes and on modular layouts constructed for specific shows.
